City of Hope in Atlanta area is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams under physician supervision, performing a variety of patient care tasks and interacting directly with patients and their caregivers.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, MA certification, current BLS and CPR, phlebotomy experience; 2 years MA experience preferred; strong organization, communication, typing and computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• MA certification required.
• Current BLS and CPR required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire).
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective oral written communication skills.
• Computer and typing skills required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Aufgaben

• Under the direct supervision of a physician, physician extender, or a registered nurse, performs a variety of patient care activities in accordance with established standards and practice of CoH.
• Delivers compassionate care to patients by assisting with clinical tasks, preforming support services for clinical staff and providing direct interaction with patients and their caregivers.
