Job summary

American Oncology Network, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in hematology/oncology clinics. You will perform phlebotomy, lab testing, vital signs, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include specimen processing, QA, scheduling tests, and documenting in EMR. Must have 1 year of MA experience, BLS, and a valid driver’s license for travel between clinic sites.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Certifications/Licenses: As required by state; BLS required.
• One-year experience as a medical assistant in clinic or physician’s office with venipuncture.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures and venipuncture.
• Perform laboratory blood work and QA procedures.
• Obtain vitals and document in EMR.
• Schedule outside testing and referrals as ordered.
