Job summary

Premise Health in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to support employee patients at our on-site Health Center, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm. The ideal candidate holds a national Medical Assistant certification or Premise Health approved externship, plus current BLS certification; phlebotomy skills are required and Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting or Premise Health approved program with externship
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• State Lab Certificate (NV only)
• CMA certification from recognized boards (SC only)

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs
• Maintains patient health records to ensure up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments
• Performs other duties as assigned
