Organization: SMF-Sutter Med Foundation- Central
Position Overview: Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and members of the patient care team by performing back office, patient-related, and phlebotomy tasks to support high-quality patient care. Ensures smooth workflow within the department and assists in implementing the medical plan of care. Performs laboratory procedures in phlebotomy and specimen handling within the scope of practice. Uses education, technical skills, and patient interaction to gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Ideal candidate will have completed a Medical Assistant program AND hold a current CPT I license through the California Department of Public Health.
