Position Details

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our team at the Clear Lake Office. The schedule includes every other Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 12 pm, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform high-volume phlebotomy.
2. Maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
3. Ensure lab specimens are sent to the appropriate labs.
4. Document patient care services accurately.
5. Use computer systems for entering labs and printing labels.
6. Assist physicians or ultrasound technicians with procedures.
7. Support with HSGs as needed.
8. Take vital signs and provide clinical assistance.
9. Support fertility patient care, including counseling and education.
10. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
11. Complete administrative tasks such as prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• Strong phlebotomy skills.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• Background in women's health preferred.
• Patient-focused with excellent teamwork skills.
• Professionalism and strong customer service skills.
