Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in our Liverpool, NY clinics and may cover Syracuse locations as needed.

The role includes lab blood draws, patient vital signs in the EMR, room setup, and assisting physicians with procedures to ensure smooth patient flow. The candidate should have a Medical Assistant credential, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to travel between clinics.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in Medical Assisting.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in the waiting area and escorts them to the lab or exam room for their scheduled appointment.
• Records patient history and vital signs in the EMR.
• Assists physicians with procedures and prepares examination rooms with supplies.
• Processes referrals and handles check-out procedures including copayments.
• Maintains stocked supplies and a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborates with RNs and LPNs to provide high-quality patient care.
