Qualifications

• State or national certification required or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• 1 year experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Proficient computer skills (Gmail, Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets).
• Non-English language proficiency as needed by center demographics.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow and room patients promptly.
• Take vital signs and complete required screenings.
• Inventory management and supply stocking.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support and records requests.
• Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care tests as allowed by state regulations.
• Input documents into EMR and participate in care team meetings.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment and coordinate records.
