In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts. **Key Responsibilities:*** Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needs* Performs a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functions* Demonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions **Required Qualifications:*** Medical Assistant Certification* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification **Preferred Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent* 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $39.36/hour.Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
