Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Medical Assistant in Lone Tree, Colorado. You will assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments, complete patient intake, and diligently document vital signs and medical history in electronic records.

You will perform point-of-care tests, maintain supplies, disinfect treatment rooms, and support front office tasks such as check-in, check-out, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, LPN, EMT).
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong computer skills including EMR systems knowledge.
• Prior medical assisting experience preferred.
• CMA credential strongly preferred.
• Pediatrics or family practice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role: Medical Assistant

Responsibilities: Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments, complete patient intake, document vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic records, perform point-of-care tests, maintain supplies, disinfect treatment rooms, and support front office tasks such as check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety standards, maintain logs, address voicemails and messages, and participate in training and meetings.

Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT), current BLS certification, strong computer skills, prior medical assisting experience, and preferred EMR system knowledge. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is strongly preferred. Experience in pediatrics or family practice is a plus.

Key Traits: Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate empathy, actively listen, and maintain accurate medical records. Must be able to stand, lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift more than 25 pounds. Good vision and focus are required.
