Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant / Patient Support Associate for the Anesthesia Pain Management team. The role is full-time with hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, primarily performing front-desk and patient coordination duties.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR certification is required and MA certification is optional. Prior medical office experience is preferred, with on-the-job training provided as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience required; prior medical office experience preferred.

• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required

• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required

• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience
