Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Medical Assistant / Patient Support Assistant (GI) at our Arlington Heights location. This dual role supports both medical and front-office tasks within a busy physician practice.

The position offers full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with flexible scheduling and travel to nearby sites as needed. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, handling registrations, collecting co-pays, verifying insurances, and assisting providers with patient flow.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• Certification: CPR through American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year in medical office or related field; on-the-job training available.

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room

Position Highlights

• Position: Medical Assistant / Patient Support Assistant (dual role) - GI
• Location: 2101 S Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights
• Full Time: 40 hours/ week
• Hours: Varies Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Typically 8- hour shifts.
• Travel Required: 15 S. McHenry Rd, Buffalo Grove & 880 W Central Rd, Arlington Heights & 519 S. Roselle Rd, Schaumburg & 21481 N Rand Rd, Kildeer
• This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

What You Will Need

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience
