Job summary

Azspineandjoint is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams in a patient-focused clinic. The MA will assist with clinical tasks, maintain accurate EMR charts, and help ensure efficient patient flow across locations.

The role requires clinical skills, HIPAA awareness, and a friendly, professional demeanor. A high school diploma and CMA accreditation are preferred, with at least 1 year of MA experience and willingness to travel between clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant accreditation preferred.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective care to patients.
• Work independently and execute excellent customer service.
• Accurately perform vital signs and chart in electronic medical records.
• Be a resource for all other clinical staff.
• Draw up medications for providers as needed.
• Perform end of shift room turnover.
• Assist Provider team with in office procedures, as needed.
• Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards and policies at all times.
• Manages difficult or emotional patient situations in an effective, professional manner.
• Flexibility to travel between locations is required.
• Other duties as assigned.
