Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; BCLS certification required within three months of employment date.
• Knowledge of basic ICD & CPT codes is preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records and healthcare administrative duties is expected.
• Internship with good references or extensive customer service background acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Five+ years in a medical office as a medical assistant for clinical duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of clinical and administrative duties for medical office outpatients under direct supervision.
• Assist physicians or mid-level providers with outcome-based patient care as part of a care team.
