Job summary

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, collecting specimens, and assisting providers. You will ensure rooms are stocked, answer calls, and participate in team-based care according to standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in physician offices preferred.
• Electronic health record documentation experience preferred.
• CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs (height, weight, temp, BP, SpO2, HR).
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as needed.
• Document reason for visit, medications, and medical history.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures.
• Stock exam rooms and answer phones per patient needs.
• Provide patient teaching with provider guidance.
• Facilitate referrals, authorizations, and eligibility checks.
