Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Regular Worker Type in Missouri to assist with patient examinations under the direction of a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or physician. The role includes assisting with treatments, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, and performing basic clerical duties.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; no experience is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 10 years of work experience.
• Wisconsin requirement: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience plus graduation from a medical assistant program or certification equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Assists with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and prepares treatment rooms.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone and filing.
• Manages supplies and maintains a clean environment.
• Works safely and remains alert at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
