Qualifications

• Ability to provide patients with timely responses, clear and professional communication, and a steadfast willingness to find solutions to all problems.
• Proficient in basic technology (Microsoft products, etc.).
• Ability or willingness to learn patient engagement software / customer service systems that enable omnichannel communication with patients and teammates.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients; recording medical history; confirming the purpose of the visit.
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.
• Secures patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
• Deliver overall support for providers and clinic operations.
• Instruct patients on the collection of any necessary samples and tests.
• Give injections and administer prescribed medications as directed by the provider and according to nursing standards.
• Observe patients, chart and report changes in patient\'s conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and take any necessary action.
