NYU Langone Health in New York, NY is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses in delivering patient care within our clinical teams. The successful candidate will assist with patient preparation, vital signs, phlebotomy as needed, and coordination of treatment schedules.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and a Medical Assistant program completion or an active MA certification from a recognized certifying body.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
• Preferred MA experience; second language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Performs patient care support under physician and nurse supervision.
• Obtains vital signs and assists with exams.
• Assists with scheduling treatments and coordinating patient flow.
• Cleans and sterilizes equipment and maintains exam rooms.
• Collects specimens and assists with phlebotomy as needed.
