Lakeside Physicians in Granbury, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a medical provider. You will handle clinical and administrative tasks, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and 0–1 year of experience; training in EMR and strong patient service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completed.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive medical procedures and vital signs.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties including report results and phone triage.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Manages workload with prompt and courteous service.
• Monitors supplies and educates patients on medications and health topics.
• Maintains attendance and compliance with policies.
