Qualifications

• Experience: Completion of a medical assistant program or 1 year experience in a clinical capacity
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Special Skills - Computer literate; skilled in use of Microsoft Outlook, electronic health records and other software programs
• Licensure/Certification: BLS Required

Responsabilités

• Interviews patients, obtains vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
• Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
• Triage calls and processes call-in non-narcotic prescriptions as directed by the provider.
• Maintains confidentiality of protected health information in line with HIPAA.
• Assists with regulatory and compliance needs of the clinic.
• Works under close supervision of the physician and clinic manager
