Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Florida is seeking a qualified clinical assistant to perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned area or office. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and uplift to patient experience as part of the Memorial Experience.

Under supervision, you will perform basic diagnostic procedures, phlebotomy, vital signs, patient history, and help with assessments and treatments.

Qualifications

• Accredited program required for entry into the role.
• Six months of patient care experience or EMT/MA diploma acceptable.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed for physician practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages and facilitates all in-basket messages and patient phone calls.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, including phlebotomy, splint application, and procedural tray/room set-up.
• Under supervision, assists with patient assessments and treatments; documents vital signs and history.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies; ensures clean, stocked examination areas.
• Activates My Chart accounts and ensures Telehealth connectivity for scheduled appointments.
