Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competency and patient records, prepare patients for exams, take vital signs and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines under physician supervision; process prescription refills for approval.
• Assist with specimen collection, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing; document results in the EHR.
• Schedule tests and referrals; communicate with patients about delays and follow-up actions.
• Support patient education and after-visit instructions in the EMR; maintain inventory and exam rooms.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare regulations; ensure readiness of exam rooms and equipment.
