Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma are required.
• Proficiency with an EMR system preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel to NYH locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information recording.
• Collect and process lab specimens, including venipuncture and diagnostic tests.
• Record patients' vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Sterilize equipment and assist providers with office procedures.
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.
