Job summary

CHILDREN AND FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC P is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes, support nurses and medical staff, and help manage tests and lab reporting to keep patients informed about their care.

You will assist with inventory, set up equipment, and keep rooms clean. Ideal candidates have strong customer service and an eagerness to learn in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
