Job summary

NEUROLOGY CLINIC INC in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient visits by preparing records and pulling notes, assisting nurses and medical staff, and helping track tests and lab reports to keep patients informed about their care.

You will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, reconciling charts before provider entry, and assisting with injections or blood draws if trained.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by organizing records and outside records and setting up equipment.
• Clean rooms and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues and visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and manage basic medical office duties.
