HealthNet, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform a variety of patient care services at its health centers in Indianapolis, IN. Pay starts at $19/hour, with a full-time schedule that may include Monday/Tuesday 8am-8pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, and Wednesday/Friday 8am-5pm.

The role supports physicians, prepares exam rooms, and assists with exams and treatments. Requirements include BLS within one month of hire, a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited medical assistant program,

Qualificações

• BLS certification through the AHA within one month of hire.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Accredited medical assistant program completed.
• Foreign degree equivalency if applicable.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding.

Responsabilidades

• Collect patient information.
• Call patients for next day appointments.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and records.
• Assist providers in exams and treatments.
• Perform general lab work.
• Administer injections and phlebotomy.
• Provide patient education and clerical support.
