MedStar Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory care setting. You will assist providers with exams, perform venipuncture, measure vitals, and document in the EMR while supporting a high-reliability care environment.

Position may float to other sites within the system. Requirements include a CMA or RMA within 1 year and CPR within 90 days. High School diploma or GED required; MA program preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification within 1 year is expected; CPR certification required within 90 days.
• Experience in ambulatory care settings is encouraged; externship may be substituted for work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers with patient exams and administrative tasks in ambulatory care.
• Perform venipuncture, document vital signs, and support patient education and prep.
• Maintain EMR documentation, ensure safety standards, and participate in team huddles.
