Job summary

Aiken Physicians Alliance is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, perform venipuncture, and document in the Electronic Medical Record under physician guidance.

The role also involves preparing treatment rooms for examinations and providing front-d desk coverage as required, contributing to a collaborative care team in a family-focused clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, take vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height) and assist physician.
• Perform venipuncture and follow physician-directed procedures within state scope of practice; document in EMR.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and assist in front-desk coverage as needed.
