Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System East is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and the nursing team in delivering patient care. You will perform pre-visit planning, room patients, obtain vitals, and manage documentation in the EMR while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor.

This full-time day shift supports front desk tasks as needed and requires BLS certification and less than one year of applicable experience. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at Saint Luke's East.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year applicable experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and nursing team in delivery of care.
• Perform pre-visit planning and rooming of patients.
• Obtain vitals and document in EMR.
• Scan and download documents; manage front-office tasks as needed.
• Perform telephone screening per protocols.
