Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Experience with diverse populations preferred.
• Experience in primary care/public health setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers.
• Maintain EHR and document patient data accurately.
• Collect specimens and administer medications/immunizations.
• Outreach to patients for preventive care and follow-up.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up and scheduling; verify insurance and collect fees.
