The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, prior healthcare experience preferred, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and the ability to multitask are important;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification as CMA or RMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examination.
• Perform minor procedures and assist with clinical tasks as directed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and filing in the EHR.
• Schedule appointments and communicate with patients regarding their healthcare needs.
• Front desk duties: answer phones, greet patients, and handle basic billing inquiries.
• Sterilize instruments and help prepare clinical areas for procedures.
• Provide clerical support to the healthcare team.
