Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patients and coworkers under the Health Center Manager. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks with accuracy across centers to maintain smooth patient flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years in healthcare preferred and National Medical Assistant Certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in a healthcare setting (preferred).
• National Medical Assistant Certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-judgmental, client-oriented care and accurate information.
• Assist with optimizing patient flow to keep appointments on schedule.
• Establish and prepare documents for patient records and services.
• Assist with preparing exam rooms, patient intake, and support the clinician.
• Perform lab tests, injections, and maintain supplies; follow universal precautions.
