Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient assessment, diagnostic procedures, and care delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, ensuring accuracy of records, and upholding HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• BLS through American Red Cross may be acceptable at some PA locations.
• Experience in physician office or other healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, including EKGs, venipuncture/injections, and vital signs.
• Manage patient flow and ensure accuracy of medical history and documentation.
• Maintain inventory and order clinical supplies to support office operations.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
