Job summary

The Jefferson Health system is seeking a Medical Assistant at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. You will support physicians with exams, diagnostic procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy and injections while managing patient flow and ensuring satisfaction.

You will maintain supplies, document vitals and medical histories, and follow HIPAA privacy standards in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with CMA or equivalent.
• NJ-only diploma includes 330 hours of injections training.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Ability to document patient histories, vital signs, and meds.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations and diagnostic procedures.

• Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy, injections in the office.
