Job summary

HopeHealth, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered care team. The role supports clinicians through patient intake, vital signs, diagnostic procedures, and lab work, while helping maintain smooth patient flow.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, CMA or RMA certification, BLS, and at least two years in a physician's office; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited school.
• National CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Two years of experience in a physician’s office

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical provider in patient intake, vital signs, diagnostic procedures, and lab work.
• Assist with medication refills when needed
• Facilitate efficient patient flow and room turnover
• Maintain neat, tidy work area and stock exam room daily
• Manage and maintain medical records and schedule appointments
• Provide patient education and immunization administration
