Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Medical Assistant program with 160-hour externship completion.
Medical Assistant program without externship but with minimum one-year clinical medical assisting experience in the past five years.
Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with at least one year of clinical experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Licensed Paramedic/EMT with at least one-year clinical experience.
Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and escort patients to the exam room, maintaining a welcoming environment.
Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.
Measure and document vital signs for patient assessments.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Assist providers during examinations and procedures to support efficient care.
