Job summary

You will greet patients, collect histories, record vital signs, prepare for exams, and assist during procedures, contributing to high-quality care. A MA program with externship or equivalent experience is required, and BLS may be required on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with externship or 1 year clinical experience.
• Certification in Medical Assisting or equivalent licensure preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EPIC EMR experience are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories.
• Record vital signs and document them in the chart.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; assist during exams.
• Support providers and nursing leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
