Job summary

Rancho Health MSO is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations across multiple sites in California. You will room patients, assist with clinical procedures, and handle administrative tasks including scheduling, referrals, and documentation.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or equivalent, high school diploma, and (preferred) BLS CPR certification. Spanish bilingual skills are advantageous to support diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of records management and admin.
• Must pass Rancho’s Medical Assistant checklist.
• Vaccine quiz must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care duties including rooming, pre-visit planning, and assisting with clinical procedures.
• Perform QC checks and autoclave maintenance; stock rooms and manage supplies.
• Schedule patient appointments; handle reschedules and check-out duties.
• Process medication refills and prior authorizations; manage inbox and calls.
• Scan documents into EMR and support triage and patient communications.
