Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take and record patient vitals and histories.
• Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer injections and collect specimens under supervision.
• Perform basic lab tests and venipuncture.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain supplies.
• Assist in minor surgeries and with EKG/vision checks.
• Educate patients on health management and immunizations.
• Schedule appointments and referrals, manage check-ins/outs.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and records.
• Process insurance verification and coding information.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Manage office equipment, inventory, and filing tasks.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Conduct daily chart audits and support additional tasks.
