Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent.
• Current BLS certificate with hands-on skills verification required; online-only certificates not accepted.
• State of Florida MA/CNA certification preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred.
• Spanish fluency is preferred but not essential.
• 1 year of medical office, clinic, or hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepares pre-visit planning and examination/treatment rooms for providers.
• Performs and records vital signs and in-office procedures as indicated.
• Documents patient history, immunizations, lab results, and referrals in EMR.
• Maintains inventory and equipment; ensures proper infection control and privacy per HIPAA.
• Performs CLIA-waived tests and participates in care team huddles daily.
• Performs immunizations and lab draws as ordered by the provider.
• Handles referrals and communications with outside records as needed.
