Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a medical assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to follow HIPAA privacy and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care as directed by the clinic provider and physician.
• Perform basic nursing-related and medical office tasks of average difficulty.
• Greet patients professionally and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Document patient histories and symptoms in the EMR (IC-Chart).
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain supplies/equipment.
• Assist with patient education and provide written information.
