Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to support patient flow and care in our clinic setting. The MA will perform patient access duties, assist providers, and document care under supervision.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient data entry, specimen collection, and basic procedures (EKG, eye tests, wound care) with emphasis on accuracy and patient communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; MA training program if hired after 06/01/2021.
• Experience in patient care and clinical procedures preferred.
• Basic life support is typically required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interview patient and document responses in medical records.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatments to providers.
• Document medication refills and maintain accurate records.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for tests.
• Perform clinic procedures such as EKGs and vision testing.
• Educate patients using provided materials and manage scheduling.
