Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support administrative and clinical tasks across our clinics in Indiana. The role requires independence and teamwork, with attention to patient care and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling appointments, preparing charts, processing referrals and copays, and maintaining supplies and exam rooms. Travel to other clinics is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in Medical Assisting.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.
• Certified in Medical Assisting strongly preferred.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.
• Reasoning Ability: ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Computer Skills: knowledge of computer information systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Contact patients who no-show or reschedule as needed.
• Distribute patient records to medical staff and prepare new patient charts.
• Process outgoing patient referrals and collect copayments.
• Maintain stocked supplies and clean exam rooms.
• Schedule procedures and obtain authorizations in the EMR.
