Job summary

Gastro Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and ensure efficient clinical operations at our Kirkland locations. You will assist with patient care, administrative tasks, and EMR data entry, contributing to a positive patient experience.

The role requires at least 2 years of MA experience, BLS, and completion of an MA program; certification is desirable. This is an in-person position in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Multitasking and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication with patients and team.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate late or walk-in patients with available providers.
• Greet patient and escort to exam room.
• Triage, take vitals, and document history in EMR.
• Enter medications and prescription data into EMR.
• Assist physician during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Disinfect instruments and keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Support Care Coordinator as needed.
• Draw blood and manage lab entries in LIS.
