Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in examinations and treatments while maintaining patient confidentiality. The role may include Front Office tasks and other duties as assigned, with safety-sensitive responsibilities.

You will take patient history, measure vital signs, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and perform basic lab and clerical duties. The ideal candidate has high school diploma and MA program, BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Accredited MA program preferred.
• MA course completion certification preferred and BLS certification required.
• 2 years Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients professionally and facilitates smooth flow.
• Obtains patient history, measures vitals, and records chart information.
• Explains procedures and prepares exam rooms for evaluation by provider.
• Prepares instruments, sterilizes equipment and assists provider during procedures.
• Administers injections, meds, eye/ear care, wounds, and draws blood as directed.
• Performs CLIA-waived labs and processes specimens.
• Performs x-ray setup as needed; may assist Radiology Technician.
• Completes medical charts and coordinates referrals and follow-ups.
• Handles registrations and basic clerical duties as needed.
