You will also manage treatment rooms and maintain supplies, while performing essential clerical duties like answering phones and filing. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of applicable experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire; CMA/RMA/AAMA or NCCT/AMT certification sites acceptable.
• Completion of Basic Machine Operators (BMO) cert. preferred; current FL BMO Operator registration preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Nat'l Medical Assistant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist the physician with medical procedures and treatments.
• Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other information accurately in patient charts.
• Manage clinical logistics, including preparing treatment rooms and maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining patient records.
