Job summary

INDCLINIC seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care in an outpatient setting. You will assist with patient intake, vital signs, and basic procedures while keeping exam rooms ready and organized for efficient clinic flow.

The role requires 0–1 year of experience or completion of an externship and a Medical Assistant program. Excellent patient service and confidentiality are essential in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship completion required.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with non-invasive procedures; takes vital signs and preps patients.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties; reports test results and triages by phone.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Maintains organized workload; provides courteous service to all.
• Monitors supplies and equipment; ensures inventory levels.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliable attendance.
