Job summary

ClareMedica Health Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide ancillary clinical support in our Florida clinics. You will work with PCPs, other MAs, and staff to ensure patient care is delivered efficiently and compassionately.

You will handle vital signs, patient prep, documentation, and health coaching under physician direction. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, OSHA standards, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year MA/Patient Care Tech experience or clinical rotation.
• CPR/BCLS certification preferred.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office; typing 40 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and history.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and explain instructions.
• Monitor physiological measurements and report changes.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure OSHA safety.
• Coordinate radiographic and laboratory studies as directed.
• Document and manage patient records and communications.
• Travel locally up to 10% to cover other centers as needed.
