Job summary

NYU Langone Health Florida is seeking a Medical Assistant (FGP) to support physicians, nurses and APCs in Palm Beach County (Atlantis). You will validate patient identifiers, prepare exam rooms, take vitals, draw blood, and collect lab samples, while handling scheduling and data entry in EPIC.

The role emphasizes patient experience, collaboration with the clinical team, and adherence to NYU Langone's CARES service standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• MA certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT or NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for evaluation.
• Measure and record vital signs and collect blood samples.
• Process specimens per policy and handle EMR data entry.
• Manage inbasket messages and coordinate with providers.
• Transcribe visit notes into EPIC and support patient flow.
