Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness, Inc. in Chicago Heights, IL, seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in an ambulatory care setting. Join a team focused on compassionate patient care and efficient service.

Responsibilities include medication administration, venipuncture, vital signs, chart preparation, scheduling, and coordinating with the RN/Provider. Some evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program (diploma or certificate).
• AMT CMA certification or exam completed.
• Ability to work late evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Willingness to travel to different clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, venipuncture, and immunizations for adults and pediatric patients.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for visits.
• Perform waived testing and specimen collection.
• Review and prep medical charts; ensure readiness before visits.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage EHR tasks daily.
• Attend required trainings (Core Curriculum and others).
