Job Overview

Medical Assistants play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and enhancing patient experience. They manage patient flow, assist with medical procedures, and support providers.

Essential Functions

• Assist providers in exam rooms.
• Measure and record vital signs, height, and weight.
• Gather patient medical history and chief complaints.
• Perform clinical duties such as blood draws, vital signs, vaccine preparations, EKGs, glucose monitoring, sample collection, testing, etc.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clinic protocols.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Chinese required.
• Phlebotomist certification preferred.
• Professionalism and responsibility.
• Effective communication skills: kind, compassionate, patient-focused.
• Multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.
